I had a lot of health issues when I started acupuncture school. I had been written off my numerous medical doctors and told I would have to learn to live with the pain of neuritis, thoracic outlet and inflammation in numerous places on my arms. I was not willing to accept permanent pain. I started to look for natural remedies.
I spent three years in acupuncture school, getting a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine. I learned about acupuncture and Chinese herbs and how they can treat so many ailments. By the time I graduated, in 1999, most of my health issues were gone and I felt better than I had in years. This was in spite of the fact that school was very stressful and I was in school 30 hours per week, including Saturdays.
